Camino Espirituale Stage 1 😊 or The day of Monestarios ✨

This beautiful day near Pontevedra started with purple sky sunrise and birds singing marvelous melodies 💚

From this moment I hear Rise up by Andra Day ✨ not yet started the Way but felt with all my heart it’s gonna be impressive day ✨ which surely was 🙏💚 Stage 1 - go 😊

We had quick breakfast and left to the chilly marning ❄️ just around the corner we saw beautiful horses and small goat and when it approached us and jumped on the stone fence almoust on us my scream was heard to the last house of the village. I didn’t expect that and this was a true wake up not a morning coffee 😄

Further our way led from fragrant eucalyptus woods to beautiful view town and Monestario de Poio.

Here we spent some time to fill hearts with peace and elation. Amazing feeling inside and stunning XVII century building ✨

After a corner we stopped for a coffee and water and here we were reminded that Camino provides 😊 with our coffee we got juice, cake and a small bowl of stew

Combarro, the small town we reached, impressed us with a cosy spirit 😊 narrow streets and amazing view to the Ocean ✨

Here we also find a fruit shop where we bought ginger and lemon for Gisella’s signature immunity drink 😊 and it was so so much needed later 🙏😊

This was the last little piano walk before the real walk of the day started 😄 or I would say climb 🙈 8.7km to the mountain was a true reminder of all what Camino provides: sence of freedom - where you and your bag is the only things you need for a moment, no shops, no other people, no houses, just the way, mountains, you and your precious Camino partner who (as myself) walks in silence ✨

while taking out the jacket and after a while a jumper you are perfectly reminded of the feelimg where you take yourself together to concour the way 😊

not only that but also sprinkle this feeling with beautiful scenery amazement ✨

In these moments you remember the pure joy of reaching the finish of the day 😊 which was still not close 😊

After few km we reached the Armenteira 💚 what a beautiful old building we saw 😍 we have already disscused that it would be the most wonderful our future Albegue for pilgrims 😊💚


Before starting this Camino my one of the wishes was to sleep in the Monestario Armenteira 😊

our destiny of this wish was checked by the faith several times today 😊 calling - no answer, arriving late, arriving at the weekend where sisters have celebration (which means no rooms).. but finally Gisella agrees in italian that we can stay 😊✨ that is a true blessing or Gisella’s joker 😊 here we was teached that any situation can be solved with a flow 😊 even knowing all obstacles we didn’t rush our time and didn’t book anything else for tonight✨

We got a room and was invited to Pilgrims Blessing in the Chapel 😊 the blessing was told only to us - 2 pilgrims who arrived today in english for me and in italian for Gisella 💚 that was realy touching moment😊 the blessing still echo in my head - bring the light which you find here home with you 🙏💚

after the blessing we had a good dinner and went back to the room 😊 some adjustments with the heater so it would be more than 12 degrees imside 😬😄 that required some drops of the patience 🤭 our ginger tea making turned into unstopable laught - this condition clearly identifies the plan of the evening 😊

Early sleep, eat and repeat 😊 so nice to be back on Camino 💚 i can feel it with almoust all my muscles 🤭 gigantic grateful for this amazing day 🙏💚

Porto vibes ✨

I woke up before 6am and instantly thought that time difference is in my favour 😊 I have full day in Porto 💚 I got ready fast and as silent as possible as my room mate was sleeping tight. I brought a coffee and went to cathedral. As it was still a bit too early to pick piligrim passport I sat in the square enjoying a beautiful music this guy was performing ✨ It felt that the melodies are washing the soul ✨ pure joy, calmness and admiration was going through the veins 🎶 I thought to myself that this usually happens to myself abroad when street musicans are playing - they have that special vibe. Magic 🎶 maybe it’s becouse the most beautiful things are priceless? ✨ the time stopped or passed while I dived in the melody, the time flew imperceptibly. I got in the cathedral and it was just few people there, calm and nice 😊 And yay I got my piligrim passport 👣 I bought the shell also to have a complete gear 😊 I believe it is so wonderful to have it all completed with stamps as ir was a...

Hola Spain ✨

The day started pretty early as the party was hitting hard downstars at 4am 😄 but after some hours of “sleep” we woke up very energetic and went down to take breakfast. Philip made great coffee and we took the chairs outside and had a great chill. It seemed we sit on The Way as many piligrims was passing by 😄 and one more girl joined us for a coffee. Sharing is caring ✨ The view was impressive and we could wave to Spain or as Philip said spit over there if try harder 🤭 So again some more goodbye hugs and I left to my Litoral path while others went to Central 😊 Camino truly teaches how not to attach, say goodbye and release ✨ I went to harbour and one mane suggested to take a boat. Why not I thought to myself, don’t need to wait for ferry. The boat to be honest didn’t look very trustworthy but the ticket is already in my hand 😄 So we took it with one spanish family and the captain asked where am I from. Than he said “no swimming miss Lithuania” and put that safety jacked in one fas...
