Duo reaches Padron ✨

Today was so different. And here I would say Camino provided a clear understanding of how I praise solitude, freedom, emphaty and time ✨

The morning was very simmilar to others and after slow and chill breakfast I left beautiful Caldas de Reis. I was still doubting if I shouldn’t take the rest day as the city is beautiful and has a great energy 😊

I knew that some of our Camino family staying and getting massage so it was very attractive thing to do 😊 but than I passed the Piligrim statue which we saw yesterday and it was clear show of direction 😄



So I left the city and went in very nice green area where I could smell the grass and forest 😊

And the path was calm not so many piligrims as I left a bit late. The way was really empty - no place for a coffee for 5-6km.

Just small villages and forests, few climbs of course 😄

And in the first cafe I stopped I saw Irish ladies from yesterday’s brunch 😊 I joined them for coffee.

We was having a great laugh about yesterday’s missunderstandings. I booked the hotel, Philip thought he booked the same, but just after check in turned out that it was different one 😄 he was waiting for me to go for the laundry in the terrasse 😄🤭 while my terrasse was kilometer away..

Irish aldies also told the story about the crepiest stay in hostel. The owner was calculating laundry per piece - 1 sock 0.83eur 😅. A great salesman 🤭 And suddently one guy from the other table asked to join us as we are having a great fun. That’s how Matias appeared. He introduced himself so we know the first Finnish person on the way.

He acctually asked to join for a walk and as Irish ladies was already leaving we left also. So we have talked and walked all the way to Padron. 15 kilometers. The advantages was that you don’t notice the elevations. The other side effects was that no music or audiobook, no iinner thoughts, no feeling, no seeing.. it was blurry and casual. Casual walk from A to B.

And this is how it feels for me to walk The Way with someone.. it is not good or bad it is just a perfect reminder for the daily life how important it is to have a time for myself so I could feel, see, taste and listen 100%.

And it is a lot about cherish others private space. That is what Camino community is all about. As you feel alone but not lonely. A part of but not together. Happy to see happy to leave. Constantly possibility of the last talk. A great joy of coinsidence to meet up again. Feel present without thoughts about tommorow. Feel bliss of the moment✨

Great XVI century building-hotel. It has church attached to the side✨ and everyday you cam participate in Mass from the second floor 😊

The interior of hotel was amazing, it truly was a feelimg like it would be several hundrid years back.



And the dinner with Galicia heritage was amazing ✨

I also took Padron peppers. And there is a kinda game eating this dish spanish play 😊 mainly all peppers are mild but you may get a spicy one. So the spicy pepper is the lucky one (I hope person eat it also feel lucky 🤭).

Lastly but not the least the nice swimming pool awaits for me in the morning 😊

Two more days left and arrival to Santiago de Compostela. Mixed feelings in my heart, I would continue to walk 😊 but enjoying since it is not over yet and waiting for the days ahead ✨

Porto vibes ✨

I woke up before 6am and instantly thought that time difference is in my favour 😊 I have full day in Porto 💚 I got ready fast and as silent as possible as my room mate was sleeping tight. I brought a coffee and went to cathedral. As it was still a bit too early to pick piligrim passport I sat in the square enjoying a beautiful music this guy was performing ✨ It felt that the melodies are washing the soul ✨ pure joy, calmness and admiration was going through the veins 🎶 I thought to myself that this usually happens to myself abroad when street musicans are playing - they have that special vibe. Magic 🎶 maybe it’s becouse the most beautiful things are priceless? ✨ the time stopped or passed while I dived in the melody, the time flew imperceptibly. I got in the cathedral and it was just few people there, calm and nice 😊 And yay I got my piligrim passport 👣 I bought the shell also to have a complete gear 😊 I believe it is so wonderful to have it all completed with stamps as ir was a...

Hola Spain ✨

The day started pretty early as the party was hitting hard downstars at 4am 😄 but after some hours of “sleep” we woke up very energetic and went down to take breakfast. Philip made great coffee and we took the chairs outside and had a great chill. It seemed we sit on The Way as many piligrims was passing by 😄 and one more girl joined us for a coffee. Sharing is caring ✨ The view was impressive and we could wave to Spain or as Philip said spit over there if try harder 🤭 So again some more goodbye hugs and I left to my Litoral path while others went to Central 😊 Camino truly teaches how not to attach, say goodbye and release ✨ I went to harbour and one mane suggested to take a boat. Why not I thought to myself, don’t need to wait for ferry. The boat to be honest didn’t look very trustworthy but the ticket is already in my hand 😄 So we took it with one spanish family and the captain asked where am I from.
